National Highway Sector 16 approval for the installation of asphalt in the public highway.
NHSS Sector 8 approval for the installation of street lighting columns, illuminated street furniture and maintenance/upgrades to existing systems.
The HEA was formed by the amalgamation of ASLEC (The Association of Signal, Lighting and other highway electrical contractors) and HEMSA (The Highway Electrical Manufacturers and Suppliers Association). The HEA is one of the largest and most influential bodies within the sector, representing over 100 organisations whose contract services range from street lighting and traffic signals to highway communications.
Highways Electrical Registration Scheme. All organisations operating within the highway electrical sector must be registered to the Highway Electrical Registration Scheme (HERS), the scheme works to unsure all organisations operating within the sector are fully compliant with NHSS8.
National Electricity Registration Scheme (NERS)
We have been technically assessed and accredited to carry out contestable works associated with the installation of electrical connections. We hold Independent Connection Provider (ICP) status.
